🌱 The last bars from nut-free production
The Marou bars you currently find in our shop come from a batch that was produced entirely in a nut-free environment. This means:
- no cashews
- no peanuts
- no other nuts
- no cross-contamination
These bars thus meet the high standards we set at Schoko-Wunderland for allergen-friendly chocolate.

This information already indicates the direction of production development.
⚠️ What is changing at Marou
Future Marou productions will take place in a factory that also processes cashews. This means: New batches will carry the notice "May contain traces of cashew" – and traces may indeed be present.
For many people, this is not an issue. However, for allergy sufferers, this notice is crucial.
❌ Why we will no longer carry Marou after this batch
We have decided to carry the brand only as long as the current, safe stock is available, and then remove it from our assortment. Not because the quality is decreasing – but because the new production environment no longer meets our standards for allergen-friendly chocolate.
Our philosophy is clear: If we cannot recommend a product with full conviction, we will not continue to carry it.
