Looking for chocolate that suits your preferences? Perhaps you want a vegan option, need to avoid soy or are searching for gluten-free treats. Our filters help you narrow down the range step by step, so you can spend more time exploring your favourites.
1. Start with a product listing
Open All products or a category that interests you. Select “Filter & Sort” to open the options. On a smartphone, they appear in a side panel.
Under “Allergies & dietary preferences”, you will find the available characteristics. Select “Show more” if you cannot see them all. The number in brackets indicates the matching products in that selection; it can change depending on the category and active filters.
2. Combine the characteristics you need
For example, are you looking for chocolate labelled both gluten-free and soy-free? Tick both boxes. Within “Allergies & dietary preferences”, products must meet all selected characteristics at the same time. Adding another tick can therefore narrow the results further.
You can add “vegan” in the same way. Select each characteristic that matters to you, then confirm your selection using the button to show the results.
3. Add availability, brand and price filters
Want to see only items you can currently order? Under “Availability”, select “In stock”. Use “Brand” to focus on a particular maker. A price limit can also help you find suitable products.
Sorting changes the order of the results, for example by price or by newest arrivals. It works alongside your selected filters.
4. Read the product information
Filters help you make an initial selection based on the product information in our shop. Next, open the product page and check the ingredients, allergen information and trace warnings. Check the current packaging before eating the product, too.
“Lactose-free”, “milk protein-free” and “vegan” describe different characteristics. Select each relevant filter individually rather than assuming that one label implies another.
“Sugar-free”, “low sugar” and “no added sugar” also mean different things. “No added sugar” does not automatically mean “sugar-free”: a product may contain naturally occurring sugars. Check the ingredients and nutrition information for details.
5. No results? Review your selection
If you combine several characteristics, there may be no product that meets them all. Check your selected boxes and any additional restrictions such as brand, price or availability. Remove only filters you do not need. Keep any restriction that is essential for you.
You can remove active filters to start again. Select “Remove all” to reset your selection.
Available in German, English and Italian
You can use our filters in German, English and Italian. Change the shop language using the language selector. After switching languages, check that the filters you need are still selected.
