Guittard is an American-based chocolate manufacturer that produces couverture chocolate using original formulas and traditional French methods. Since August 2019, Guittard has completely converted its production to nut-free, having previously been peanut-free in all varieties. Furthermore, Guittard guarantees that the allergens gluten and soy are completely free of traces. Therefore, Guittard completely avoids the use of soy lecithin and uses sunflower lecithin where necessary.
Guittard is a family business that has existed for 150 years and is considered one of the best chocolate manufacturers in the Americas.
Guittard is currently very difficult to obtain in Europe. We are therefore all the more proud to now be able to offer German chocolate lovers this wonderful and extremely delicious treat!
All varieties are coin-shaped, and the packs are significantly larger than we're used to (340g). But you'll notice: This really isn't a problem at all! Quite the opposite: the packs are actually much too small 😉
