A small manufacturer with a special story
Dammenberg's story began in 1994 in Tampere, Finland. Since 2003, Marko and Kirsi Iso-Kungas have been running the family business. Both bring a personal and professional connection to special dietary needs: Marko is a food engineer and lives with diabetes himself. Kirsi is a nurse specializing in allergies.
This knowledge shapes the manufacturer's focus: to produce high-quality chocolate for people who often have only a small selection in the standard confectionery aisle. Since 2017, the company has also included its own cocoa roastery – for greater control over processing, quality, and taste.

Why Dammenberg is so interesting for many allergy sufferers

The white Santas are coming!
A white Santa in a Christmas stocking or as a surprise on the Advent table: that is something you can look forward to with our delivery.
The white Dammenberg Santas are handmade and weigh 120 grams each. Their recipe consists of organic raw sugar, cocoa butter, and rice powder. They are offered as nut-free, soy-free, gluten-free, and vegan – a special discovery for anyone looking for a suitable white alternative to the classic chocolate Santa.

Discover new pralines – including truffle pralines
And then there are the new praline varieties!
Pralines are such a lovely gift: a small token of appreciation, a thank you, or something special to enjoy together. It is all the better when people with allergies can also discover suitable varieties.
With the upcoming delivery, we are expanding our selection with many new Dammenberg pralines, including gingerbread pralines. Which new favorites will be included? We will introduce the individual varieties with their ingredients and allergen properties in the shop.
