Availability Note: We are currently selling the last bars from Marou that were still produced entirely in a nut-free environment. This batch is free from traces of cashew, peanuts, or other nuts and thus meets our high standards for allergen-friendly chocolate.

Future Marou productions will take place in a factory that also processes cashews. Therefore, new batches will carry the note "May contain traces of cashew". For this reason, we will only stock the brand as long as the current, safe supply is available.

These bars come from the last nut-free production – ideal for anyone who loves Marou and requires an absolutely clear ingredient list.

Nutty dark chocolate (66%) from the highlands of Dak Lak province, with spicy white pepper from Dak Lak and a pinch of salt.

Marou produces chocolate according to FAIR-TRADE standards, but is not officially certified. The saved costs benefit the cocoa farmers directly instead! This way, Marou can often pay the farmers far more than the FAIR-Trade price.
