Availability notice: We are currently selling the last bars from Marou that were produced entirely in a nut-free environment. This batch is free from traces of cashew, peanuts, or other nuts and thus meets our high requirements for allergen-friendly chocolate.

Future Marou productions will take place in a factory where cashews are also processed. Therefore, new batches will carry the notice "May contain traces of cashew". For this reason, we will only carry the brand as long as the current, safe stock is available.

These bars come from the last nut-free production – ideal for anyone who loves Marou and needs absolutely clear ingredients.

Lam Dong is produced only in small quantities, which makes these varieties rare and very delicate. The cocoa beans come from the forests on the edge of the highlands of the Lam Dong region in the Mekong Delta

The chocolate perfectly combines the spice of pepper and anise with the sweetness of fruits. A heavy earthy note combines in the aftertaste with the taste of cherries and liquorice. An extremely sophisticated chocolate that is particularly interesting and varied for experienced chocolate lovers!

Marou produces chocolate according to FAIR-TRADE standards, but is not certified accordingly. The saved costs benefit the cocoa farmers directly instead! This way, Marou can often pay far more than the FAIR-Trade price to the farmers.
