Availability Note: We are currently selling the last bars from Marou, which were still entirely produced in a nut-free environment. This batch is free from traces of cashew, peanuts, or other nuts and thus meets our high standards for allergen-friendly chocolate.

Future Marou productions will take place in a factory that also processes cashews. Therefore, new batches will carry the note "May contain traces of cashew". For this reason, we will only carry the brand as long as the current, safe stock is available.

These bars come from the last nut-free production – ideal for anyone who loves Marou and needs absolutely clear ingredients.

This variety sparks true enthusiasm among lovers of high-cocoa chocolate. It's no surprise that Ben Tre was awarded the bronze medal by the Academy of Chocolate in 2013! A rich chocolate with honey aroma, transitioning into nutty flavor with tobacco notes.

The name Ben Tre comes from the island in the Mekong Delta, where cocoa grows among coconut palms...

Marou produces chocolate according to FAIR-TRADE standards, but is not certified as such. The saved costs instead go directly to the cocoa farmers! This allows Marou to often pay far more than the FAIR-Trade price to the farmers.
