Organic Chocolate Bar 71% Kuná – Vanilla

Chocolate made with Arriba cocoa beans from the Ecuadorian Amazon, enriched with vanilla from Paplanta, Mexico. The composition is intensely fruity and fresh with soft vanilla notes.

Kuná is produced in Ecuador in an allergen-free environment. Specifically, this means the chocolates are free of gluten, tree nuts , nuts, sesame, milk, soy, and lecithins. The sustainably grown beans are hand-selected. Only the finest beans are used and processed into the most exquisite chocolate within a very short time after harvesting, fermentation, and roasting. Everything is completely fresh.

Out of nowhere, Kuná won first prize at El Salon del Cacao y chocolate Ecuatoriano in Guayaquil (Ecuador) in 2012.

More than Fair Trade
Kuna is a brand of the Ecuadorian company FreshCosta, which – by our standards – operates a remarkable social policy. What we call fair trade is quite normal in Ecuador. At Kuna, it means social responsibility – firmly embedded in the entire concept. The well-being of the producers, job creation, and the cultivation of high-quality cocoa are essential components.

The “Nacional” or “Arriba” cocoa comes from the Kichwa Cooperative Asociación Wiñak from the UNESCO Biosphere Sumaco.
The vanilla comes from Papantla in Veracruz , Mexico. There, a family farm has been cultivating vanilla for hundreds of years. Papantla calls itself the cradle of vanilla.

Ingredients (all ingredients from controlled organic farming): Cocoa mass, cocoa butter, panela (unrefined cane sugar: the plant's juice is evaporated), natural vanilla extract,
Taste : intensely fruity and fresh with a delicate vanilla undertone.

No nuts, sesame, gluten, or soy are used in the studio. May contain traces of milk.
