Cacao from the UNESCO Sumaco Biosphere Reserve in the Ecuadorian Amazon. The hand-picked beans come from the Kichwa cooperative Wiñak. This aromatic chocolate showcases the flavors of the rainforest. No trees were felled for its packaging. Paper made from sugarcane fiber . Contains 2 x 30g bars.

Kuná is produced in Ecuador in an allergen-free environment. Specifically, this means the chocolate is free of gluten, tree nuts , nuts, sesame, milk, soy, and lecithin. The sustainably grown beans are hand-selected. Only the best beans are used and processed into the finest chocolate within the shortest possible time after harvesting, fermentation, and roasting. So, everything is fresh.

Out of nowhere, Kuná won first prize at the El Salon del Cacao y chocolate Ecuatoriano in Guayaquil (Ecuador) in 2012.

More than fair trade

Kuna is a brand of the Ecuadorian company FreshCosta, which – by our standards – pursues a remarkable social policy. What we call fair trade is quite normal in Ecuador. At Kuna, it represents social responsibility – firmly embedded in the entire concept. The welfare of producers, job creation, and the cultivation of high-quality cocoa are essential components.

A perfect 71%

A delicious dark chocolate with a particularly smooth, rich flavor. We were pleasantly surprised when we tried it for the first time.

The “Nacional” or “Arriba” cocoa comes from the Kichwa Cooperative Asociación Wiñak from the UNESCO Biosphere Sumaco.
