++++ Update (02/20/2020): ++++
We had actually ordered all of Dammenberg's new varieties at the end of January, including a large amount of Easter chocolate (Easter bunnies, figures, etc.). Due to the changes at Dammenberg, our order could not be fully fulfilled. Some varieties are currently unavailable (yet), and we received only a small amount of other varieties (for example, we only received three of the nut-free giant eggs, although we ordered significantly more). We fear that some varieties will be sold out by February or early March...

At the beginning of January, Marko Iso-kungas of Dammenberg , the Finnish chocolate manufacturer, informed us about extensive changes. To ensure you continue to easily find your favorite chocolate, we're informing you today about the changes that affect many varieties of nut-free/soy-free/peanut-free chocolate.
A new Worry Free variety combines various varieties and highlights those that are particularly suitable for allergy sufferers . Dammenberg is introducing a new name: Worry Free ! Under the name Worry Free, Dammenberg combines the various allergen-free varieties of Schokotaler and chocolate bars. In the Chocolate Wonderland, we initially offer you the following varieties: Milk Schokotaler (the old packaging: Milk Chocolatetaler 43% is no longer available), the dairy-free Schokotaler, the Milk Chocolatetaler Orange , the Mint Chocolatetaler , and the chocolate bars: Strawberry 79% (Dammenberg) and Blackberry 79%.
Our tip: simply order a pack of each variety! Because each one is delicious in its own way and, as always, perfectly prepared!
Many packaging designs have been revised, including the names of the varieties! Yes, this point will certainly cause some confusion at first, because unfortunately, Dammnberg has also changed its other packaging designs. We will update this post as soon as we know more. On this page, we will describe as best we can how and where you can find your chocolate in the Chocolate Wonderland, in case the packaging has been changed...
Many varieties that previously didn't carry the organic or FAIR TRADE seal are now FAIR TRADE and ORGANIC certified ! Buying chocolate that was grown/produced under humane conditions is important to many chocolate lovers. However, it's very difficult when this criterion occurs in combination with a food allergy (nut allergy, lactose intolerance, peanut allergy, sesame allergy). It's all the more gratifying that more and more nut-free varieties from Dammenberg are gradually becoming certified. Dammenberg chocolate is known to be among the most delicious and smooth chocolate available for allergy sufferers!
There's a little bad news: Dammenberg has unfortunately also raised its prices ! However, we can cushion the increase so that it won't affect the prices at Chocolate Wonderland 🙂
