Honeycomb is an airy, crunchy sponge toffee that is created when sugar and syrup are heated and then foamed with sodium bicarbonate (baking soda). As it cools, the typical honeycomb-like structure forms, reminiscent of a beehive – hence the name.

⭐ What does Honeycomb taste like?

The taste is:

• intensely caramelly
• warm and slightly roasted
• crispy-airy
• brittle instead of sticky
• reminiscent of Crunchie bars or crispy caramel
