About Chocolate Story

Manufaktura Czekolady is the name of the company run by Tomasz Sienkiewicz and Krzysztof Stypułkowski (with glasses). It was founded in 2009, and the men have known each other since high school.

Both later studied computer science, but took the plunge and founded Poland's first origin chocolate company. Handcrafted chocolates from bean to bar. The entire process from roasting, air separation, conching, to packaging the bar is carried out in one location. They now have three stores, two in Warsaw and one in Lodz, where they offer workshops in addition to selling chocolate. Marcin Parzyszek joined the company in 2017 and brings with him twenty years of experience in the chocolate world. Chocolate Story was highly rated in "Chocolate – The Standard Reference."

About L'Atelier des 5 Volcans

Tree-to-Bar from the heart of Cameroon

A revelation from Africa. Deep in the heart of Cameroon, amidst ancient dormant volcanoes, lies a small chocolate factory. It belongs to the French chocolatière Laetitia Paravisini.

There, she and her team make chocolate from cocoa from their own plantations. Just as French winemakers love their vineyards, she loves the cocoa plantations. One is located in the south of the country, the jungle-green Réserve du Dja, and another, Haut Penja, closer to the coast.
The cocoa is cultivated with care, carefully fermented, and the chocolate is made with love and passion. And the studio doesn't use nuts, milk, sesame, or soy, making the chocolate allergen-free!

Laetitia Paravisini is a trained pastry chef and has extensive knowledge of cocoa and chocolate production. When she came to Cameroon in 2013, many cocoa plantations were lying fallow. The cocoa farmers were simply not paid enough for their harvest, so she set about revitalizing two abandoned plantations. She works with 20 employees on the plantations and in the chocolate factory. Thus, cultivation, harvesting, fermentation, and drying are all carried out in-house. The finest chocolate is then produced on-site. When the chocolate is produced directly in Cameroon, much more income remains for the people of this country.

About Chocolatie Alexandre Bellion

Alexandre Bellion of Chocolaterie Atelier Alexandre is one of the world's finest chocolatiers. He is 100% French and based in the Dutch city of Leiden. Among other things, Alexandre supplies chocolate to De Librije, the famous three-star restaurant in Zwolle, Netherlands.

As a wine connoisseur and restaurateur, he draws clear parallels between wine and chocolate production. The finest raw ingredients are combined with knowledge, skill, and passion. He controls the entire production chain as closely as possible, from farmer to cocoa bean, from bar to praline. He is the only chocolatier in the Netherlands with complete control over this chain. Alexandre travels frequently and extensively to source the finest cocoa beans. His beans come from small cocoa farmers in Ecuador, Costa Rica, Vietnam, and the Congo, who receive a high price for their excellence. In his studio, he processes them – from bean to bar.
